Lynne Tryforos: Why you should know about her?

The reason why Lynne’s life should be discussed is because while Jean Harris has been discussed a lot, Tryforos too had an interesting life before meeting the doctor.

Though you won’t even find a wiki page of her. While it is true that Harris despised her, it didn’t stop there.

There were even handwritten materials by Jean that were read out at the trial that showed how much threatened she was with Lynne.

The anger did have its reasons. One of them being Tryforos being Herman’s young secretary who was apparently ‘taking her place’.

It was a classic case of one-sided love gone wrong. Nevertheless, let’s move on to the person we should be talking about, Miss Lynne.

Why Is Her Affair With Herman Tarnower Discussed So Much?

While those who have read the things about the whole Tarnower murder case, all they know is that she was a woman was having an affair with her employer.

The time when this happened was that of the 70s. While the wave of sexual liberation had taken off, most common people were still close minded about matters pertaining to let’s say ‘an affair’.

In her lifetime, she married twice. First with Nicholas whose last name she took and second, with one Benjamin Padilla in 1984. From her first wedlock, she had two children.

She met Herman soon after her divorce with Nicholas. In her life after the trial, she went on to work at a Steel Company called Berlin till 2006.

Death In 2020

She died on 11^th May 2020. She did outlive Harris by almost 8 years.
